A guy was sentenced to life in prison for sexually assaulting and strangling his 16-year-old sister in a wooded area.
In November 2021, Connor Gibson, 21, enticed Amber Gibson to a wooded location in Cadzow Glen in Hamilton, Scotland, and then attacked her.
He took her clothing off, attacked her sexually with the purpose to rape her, repeatedly struck her with blunt objects to the head and body, and then choked her to death.
Two days after her body was discovered, Gibson posted a heartbreaking Facebook tribute to his sister.
“Amber, you will fly high for the rest of time,” he wrote. All of us will miss you. particularly me.
“You ginger midget, I love you.” Goodbye for now X.
The next day, Gibson was detained, and after a 13-day trial, he was found guilty at Glasgow’s High Court.
Gibson was given a life sentence with a minimum of 22 years in prison after judge Lord Mullholland referred to his actions as “depraved.”
