It was during lunchtime when two guys in grey suits and a lady in a green dress entered the expensive Piaget jewelry store in central Paris and pulled a gun on the employees.
According to French media, the majority of the employees were told to sleep on the floor in the back of the store, on the upscale Rue de la Paix, just around the corner from the Ritz Hotel and the Place Vendôme. They then used a gun to force one of the employees to open the locked jewelry display cases and safe.
According to police sources published in the newspaper Le Parisien, the robbers possessed a silenced weapon.
The well-dressed trio walked away with jewelry and watches worth between $11 and $16 million. They then strolled quietly out the front door and vanished.
