Oluwo Seeks Chinese Investment, Assures Community Safety

During a visit to the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Cui Jianchun, the Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, reassured that Iwo is a secure destination for business and investments. Oba Akanbi urged Ambassador Jianchun to prioritize Iwo in any potential business and investment collaborations between China and Nigeria.

The Oluwo conveyed this message during his visit to the ambassador in Abuja. He emphasized the importance of strengthening economic ties between the two countries, particularly in light of the new government’s initiatives. Oba Akanbi also stated that Nigeria has made progress in addressing insecurity concerns, making the country safer for business activities.

In addition, the Oluwo called upon President Bola Tinubu to collaborate with the Chinese government to enhance Nigeria’s production and investment capabilities. He highlighted China’s remarkable achievements in the production sector and proposed a bilateral economic partnership to further Nigeria’s growth.

Oba Akanbi also suggested that the Nigerian government consider obtaining loans to support the country’s infrastructural development, expressing a degree of trust in China’s potential role in this aspect.
