It appears that Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has returned to Nigeria following his medical sojourn in Germany. The governor had been away for several months, seeking medical treatment in Germany, and his return was reported on Thursday.
Confirmation of his return came from his wife, Betty Akeredolu, who shared a photo of the governor aboard an airplane with the caption “Homebound.”
Additionally, the Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Mr. Wole Ogunmolasuyi, affirmed the governor’s return. He disclosed that Governor Akeredolu had arrived in the country and was now at his residence in Ibadan. Ogunmolasuyi stated, “We thank God the governor has arrived in the country. He landed in Abuja and moved straight to Ibadan.”
