The British High Commission in Nigeria has announced the opening of a new temporary submission center for United Kingdom visas in Enugu State. This move is part of efforts to provide more accessible visa services to residents in the region.
Starting from September 13, 2023, this additional visa submission center will operate in Enugu, alongside the existing centers in Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt. The Enugu center will be located at the Omedel Luxury Hotel on 4/6 Link Road off Pascal and Jerk Bus Stop, Independence Layout, Enugu, and will offer services twice a week.
Applicants will have the option to select Enugu as their application location when applying for a UK Visa, streamlining the process for residents in the southeastern region of Nigeria.
The Enugu submission center is categorized as a Premium Location, and the service fee will be NGN 246,250. This fee includes benefits such as a Premium Lounge appointment, courier return, SMS notifications, general customer support, and guidance.
The British High Commission will closely monitor the demand for visa services at this location and assess the uptake of the service over at least three months. Depending on the volume of applications, there may be considerations for expanding or modifying the services offered at the Enugu center.
