Police arrest man for holding sex party and spreading HIV

Detectives have asked attendees of sex parties to come forward and contact police after a man was accused of spreading HIV on purpose.

Luke Davis, 29, is scheduled to enter a plea on November 24 at Worcester Crown Court after earlier denying the criminal transmission of the virus.

Police are interested in hearing from anyone who has attended adult parties in Lyndholm Road, Kidderminster, or obtained sexual services advertised through social media platforms as it relates to one victim.

According to West Mercia Police, they might have been advertised as someone else, like a 26-year-old bisexual woman named Naomi.

We understand that this instance may be raising some people’s concerns, said superintendent Mel Paley.

“When making it public, we carefully considered how to strike the correct balance between the public’s safety and the defendant’s right to a fair trial.

“There are several ways you can contact the investigation team or seek support if you are concerned.”
The risk of HIV transmission is still considered to be low, but police have urged anyone who thinks they could be infected with HIV or another STD to be tested.

According to the force, anyone who believes they may be impacted should dial 101, ask for West Mercia Police, and state that they wish to file a report regarding Operation Origin.
