Glo Celebrates 20 Years with Asake, Kizz Daniel, and Chike as Ambassadors

Three prominent Nigerian music artists, namely Ahmed Ololade (Asake), Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe Daniel (Kizz Daniel), and Chike Ezekpeazu (Chike), have been welcomed into the Globacom family as brand ambassadors.

This exciting announcement took place at a vibrant ceremony held at the Mike Adenuga Towers in Victoria Island, Lagos, the headquarters of the telecommunications giant. Glo selected these artists as ambassadors because they are seen as “role models who have achieved remarkable success in their careers.”

Asake is a graduate of Theatre Arts from the renowned Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile Ife, Osun State, while Kizz Daniel holds a degree in Water Engineering from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State. Chike, on the other hand, graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering from Covenant University in Ota, Ogun State.

Globacom’s decision to appoint these three stars as ambassadors aligns with their aim to “highlight the potential and accomplishments of the youth, emphasizing the importance of focus, passion, and dedication in achieving success.”

The telecommunications company believes in empowering young Nigerians by showcasing successful individuals who can serve as mentors and role models. In an era where positive heroes and mentors are scarce, Glo aims to inspire the youth to pursue their dreams by looking up to these ambassadors.

Globacom has a strong track record of supporting arts, entertainment, and youth empowerment in Nigeria. The company’s commitment to nurturing talent and promoting the growth of various industries, including music, Nollywood, and sports, is evident through its ambassadorship program.

The new ambassadors expressed their gratitude to Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr., the Chairman of Globacom, for the opportunity and promised to represent the Glo brand while upholding its values and ideals. Globacom, in turn, pledged to continue its support for the entertainment sector, recognizing its potential to showcase Nigeria on the global stage and transform the lives of talented and diligent youths.
