Pere Egbi, a participant from a reality TV show, openly expressed his preference for Mercy Eke, a former BBNaija All Stars contestant, over Kim Oprah, another participant, during a conversation on the Clout Africa YouTube channel. This revelation followed Pere’s recent participation in BBNaija All Stars Season 8, where he finished as the 4th runner-up.
In their discussion, Cross posed a straightforward question, asking Pere, “Be honest, if you had to choose between Mercy Eke and Kim Oprah, who would you pick?”
Pere promptly responded, “Mercy Eke, a thousand times.”
During a subsequent interview, Pere, who secured the 4th runner-up position, acknowledged having genuine feelings for Mercy Eke during their time on the show. He disclosed, ““I have seen her [Mercy]. Before the show, I was having a conversation with Cross, and I know that she [Mercy] likes me, and I like her.”
Pere added, “So there’s a mutual liking. That should be the beginning of everything, whether it’s friendship or more. We both genuinely like each other.”
