The acting Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Inland Revenue Service, Mr. Jerry Adams, has called on the people of Kaduna to support the state government by paying taxes, which will contribute to the realization of the state’s sustainable development agenda. He made this call during the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of mosque toilets by the Abdulmumini Aminu Zaria Foundation at the headquarters of KADIRS (Kaduna State Inland Revenue Service).
Adams emphasized that for the state government to achieve its development goals, corporate organizations operating in the state must also fulfill their tax payment and remittance obligations. He lauded the state government’s achievements and called on citizens to pray for and support Governor Uba Sani’s vision to take Kaduna State to the next level of socioeconomic and political prosperity.
The Coordinator of the Aminu Zaria Foundation, Alhaji Abubakar Yerima, commended Mr. Jerry Adams for his commitment to the development of the state and humanity. The foundation, as part of its corporate social responsibility, undertook the construction of mosque toilets to provide a clean environment for Muslims to perform their daily prayers conveniently. The project will benefit Islamic workers at KADIRS, allowing them to attend their daily supplications with ease.
Yerima described Mr. Jerry Adams as a patriotic and non-discriminatory leader who took the initiative to build the mosque toilets despite being a Christian. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by top government officials and members of the Muslim community in Kaduna State.
