The Independent Campaign Council of the Ododo/Joel Campaign Organisation has extended congratulations to Alhaji Ahmed Ododo for his victory in the Kogi State governorship election. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the November 11 election with 446,237 votes.

The council called on Ododo’s opponents to join hands with the governor-elect for the development of the state, emphasizing that Kogi’s interests should surpass sectional or individual interests.
The statement also commended outgoing Governor Yahaya Bello for ensuring a peaceful election, contrary to predictions, and praised the residents of Kogi for their orderly conduct during the polls. The campaign council urged Ododo to swiftly unite the state, harness resources, and consolidate development gains.
This congratulatory message reflects an appeal for unity and collaborative efforts to foster progress and development in Kogi State under the leadership of Governor-elect Ahmed Ododo.
