Actor Gideon Okeke Criticizes Female Content Creators for Exposing Bodies on Social Media

Renowned Nollywood actor and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Gideon Okeke, has taken to Instagram to express his criticism of female content creators who, in the pursuit of content creation, showcase their bodies on social media while keeping their relationships private.

In a lengthy post, Okeke highlighted the paradox of these creators flaunting intimate parts of their bodies under the guise of content creation, while simultaneously concealing details about their romantic relationships. He also pointed out the common phrases used by these individuals, such as “You can’t tell a woman what to do with her body,” “My body is my business,” and “You can look but can’t touch.”

The actor asserted that his intention is to promote safer streets and contribute to the development of better men in society. He expressed his concern about the explicit content shared on social media platforms and emphasized the need to raise men who respect boundaries.

In his words: “Gehs are funny sha. Especially the ones wey be content creators. Na only Dem go show you pant, show you bra, show you the birthmark wey dey for the side of their left thigh. Nearly show you their full ‘Conchas’ in the name of content creation. But Dem dey hide their man.”

Okeke humorously recalled a time when seeing underwear required effort and labor in love, contrasting it with the present where explicit content is readily available at the scroll of a finger.

The actor concluded his post by advocating for a safer online environment and the collective responsibility to raise better men in society.
