Governor Abiodun Credits Tinubu for Economic Moves

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has praised President Bola Tinubu for making bold and audacious moves to revive the country’s economy. Abiodun, speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, stated that the Tinubu-led administration inherited a nearly comatose government but has taken decisive steps, including deregulating the petroleum industry, to save Nigerians.

According to Abiodun, President Tinubu has accomplished what no previous president in Nigeria’s history has achieved. He emphasized Tinubu’s background as a former governor, senator, and accountant, expressing confidence that the administration will overcome the country’s challenges and turn the economy around.

The governor urged Nigerians to be patient with the Tinubu-led government, emphasizing that efforts are underway to address the economic situation. This statement comes in the context of ongoing discussions about the state of the Nigerian economy and the steps taken by the current administration to address fiscal and infrastructure deficits.

Recently, Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo also acknowledged the challenges faced by the Tinubu administration, describing the economy it inherited as “dead.” Soludo noted that Nigerians need to understand the context and challenges the government faces as it works towards economic revival.
