Up-and-coming Nigerian artist, OdumoduBlvck, shares the criticism he’s facing on social media with British rapper Skepta.
After the release of his recent track, ‘Cast,’ he received backlash for perceived misogyny in the lyrics, particularly, “If she no fuck o, if she no suck who go pay for her wig and handbag?”.
In a recent conversation with Skepta, OdumoduBlvck humorously describes the situation, likening the criticism to the pull-start of a small generator in Nigeria, “You know wetin dem dey call small gen for Nigeria? All those I-better-pass-my-neighbour-generator, dem dey drag me,” he stated.
Skepta and others in the room burst into laughter as the rapper illustrates how the generator handle is pulled in an attempt to fire it up.
