Agozi Samuel apologizes to AY, Admits falsehood

In a surprising turn of events, Agozi Samuel, the individual who had previously leveled serious allegations against comedian AY Makun, has publicly apologized to the popular entertainer.

Previously, Agozi Samuel had accused AY of engaging in an extramarital affair with May Edochie, the wife of Yul Edochie, alleging that this affair was the cause of the celebrity couple’s marriage breakdown. Additionally, he claimed that AY’s second daughter was not biologically his but belonged to the comedian’s security guard.

In response to these damaging accusations, AY Makun took legal action by filing a petition, asserting that Agozi Samuel had made false and unfounded claims in a 4.32-second video posted on January 20. The petition highlighted the potential harm to AY’s reputation, exposing him to hostility, public mockery, annoyance, insult, animosity, hatred, public outrage, and unnecessary anxiety for his family.

This public apology marks a significant development in the ongoing saga, and it remains to be seen how AY Makun will respond to the retraction of the allegations. The incident serves as a reminder of the potential consequences of spreading false information and the impact it can have on individuals’ lives and reputations.
