Accelerate Studios: ‘All’s Fair in Love’ Cinema Release

Accelerate Studios has revealed its upcoming cinema production, “All’s Fair in Love,” in collaboration with FilmOne Studios and Covenant Entertainment. The romantic comedy features Deyemi Okanlawon, Timini Egbuson, and Buhle Samuels in leading roles, portraying a complex love story between two business partners vying for the affection of the same woman.

The film also boasts a stellar cast, including Ireti Doyle, Juliet Ibrahim, Adedimeji Lateef, Beauty Tukura, Venita Akpofure, Kunle Bamtefa, Gbubemi Ejeye, Kenzy Udonsenm, Oprah Okereke, and Timilehin Ojeola.

“All’s Fair in Love” marks Accelerate Studio’s entry into the cinematic space, and the CEO, Colette Otusheso, emphasizes their commitment to diverse storytelling. The film is set to offer audiences a blend of friendship, rivalry, and romance with engaging content that resonates with African stories.

Commenting on Accelerate Studios’ future plans, Otusheso states, “Following the release of our debut cinema feature film, Accelerate Studios aims to expand its presence by fostering more collaborations within the Nigerian film industry. Collaborations are crucial in Nollywood to pool diverse talent, resources, and perspectives, ultimately elevating the quality of storytelling and production.”

Esse Akwawa, Head of Production at Accelerate Studios and Producer of “All’s Fair in Love,” highlights the casting process, expressing excitement about the movie’s narrative and performances.

The film, produced by Esse Akwawa, Gloria Obichukwu, and Deyemi Okanlawon, is set for nationwide release in cinemas from February 14, 2024.
