Nigerian skit creator and actor, Mr Macaroni, has taken to his Twitter page to address fans of artists Davido and Burna Boy amidst their ongoing rift. This comes in the aftermath of an online altercation between Mr. Macaroni and a troll claiming to be a Davido fan.

The dispute arose when Mr. Macaroni criticized a video showing Davido’s bodyguard, Lati, allegedly assaulting a fan. While expressing his concern over the incident, a Davido fan called out Mr. Macaroni for not responding to Burna Boy’s comments on veteran rapper Eedris Abdulkareem’s health.
In response, He expressed his disinterest in engaging in fanbase battles on Twitter. He clarified that his criticism of the assault on a Davido fan was rooted in defending a Nigerian being mistreated, rather than taking sides in the ongoing feud between Davido and Burna Boy.
Mr. Macaroni clarified his position, stating, “My criticism about the assault on a Davido fan is not about Davido but about standing up for a fellow Nigerian who is being tormented and treated unfairly.” Despite the exchange, He emphasized his admiration for Davido and questioned whether the troll had the same level of love for the artist.
The incident highlights the tension between fans of Davido and Burna Boy, with Him navigating the online space to express his views on fairness and standing up against perceived injustice.
