3 Year old rescued from kidnappers in Yobe

The Nigeria Police Force, Yobe State Command have rescued a 3-year-old toddler from a kidnappers’ den.

The gang leader of the kidnapping gang was also arrested by the police.

In a statement released by Public Relations Officer, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, the criminal invaded Bungai village, Buni Yadi, Gujba LGA on 12th May 2024, at about 1 p.m., shooting sporadically before forcefully whisking away the toddler, Adamu Sani, aged 3 years old, to an unknown destination.

“In the course of intensive intelligence-led operations in collaboration with a vigilante group, the kidnappers’ den was discovered in Buni Yadi town and aggressively raided the enclave, where the gang leader, one Yau Usman, was arrested in the custody of the toddler, while other syndicate members fled as the command is in prompt pursuit,” the statement added.
