His Royal Highness, Eze Cyprian Amadi-Worenwu, the Eze Risi Ohia-Emeri Abali of Rebisi, has been arrested by the Rivers State Criminal Investigation Department, CID, for allegedly threatening the lives of retired Justice Adolphus Enebeli and his family members.
The Eze is accused of threatening retired Justice Enebeli’s life after the latter delivered a judgment against him on March 28, 2023, in a case involving traditional chieftaincy.
In the petition of retired Justice Enebeli, he urged the police to intervene urgently before Eze Amadi-Worenwu carried out his threats to kill him, his children, and his staff instead of exercising his constitutional right to appeal the unfavourable judgment he had received.
