Nigerian Governors Extend Eid-El-Kabir Greetings

Nigerian governors have congratulated their citizens on celebrating Eid-El-Kabir, emphasizing the festival’s significance of sacrifice, faith, and unity.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu encouraged Nigerians to learn from Prophet Ibrahim by promoting peace, unity, and stability. He urged citizens, especially Muslims, to remain spiritual and peaceful, highlighting the importance of faith and perseverance, and expressed trust in President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun stressed the need for submission to God and prioritizing spirituality over material desires. He emphasized selflessness, compassion, and sacrifice, urging Muslims to reflect on Prophet Ibrahim’s teachings. Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde called for rededication to serving Allah and humanity, appreciating the support from the Muslim community and urging for more sacrifice, prayers, and patriotism.

Governors from Ondo, Ebonyi, Kaduna, and Adamawa also extended their goodwill messages. Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa congratulated the Muslim community, assuring inclusive governance. Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru called for prayers for Nigeria’s peace and unity. Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani emphasized devotion, patience, and collective sacrifice. Adamawa Governor Ahmadu Fintiri acknowledged economic challenges but urged embracing diversity and working together for a better future.

These messages reflect a unified call for faith, perseverance, and community spirit during the Eid-El-Kabir celebrations.
