Pastor Abel Damina of Abel Damina Ministries International has told his congregation that believing in Jesus Christ is not the sole path to heaven. During a Monday sermon, he emphasized that God is not exclusively for Christians and noted that biblical figures like Abraham, David, and Jesus were not identified as Christians.
Damina explained that the term “Christianity” was first used by unbelievers in Antioch in the Book of Acts and that many people went to heaven before Christianity existed. He urged Christians to rethink their theology, stating that transformation, not religious labels, is what matters. He cited the example of the thief on the cross, who was promised paradise without being a Christian.
