Governor Uba Sani Blames External Influences for Kaduna Protests

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has linked the recent #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protests to external influences, highlighting the involvement of children aged 9-14 waving foreign flags. Sani expressed concern for local residents affected by the curfew, which has disrupted their ability to work and shop.

In his statement, the governor suggested the protests were designed to create chaos, using children to exploit regional connections with neighboring countries like Niger Republic. He argued that genuine protests were overtaken by factions using uneducated, underage children.

Sani praised the security forces for their professionalism and restraint, noting their careful handling of the situation and ongoing investigation. He emphasized that the protests were not about governance or economic hardship but were orchestrated to incite unrest.
