Tanko Yunusa, a prominent member of the Labour Party, has called on President Bola Tinubu to promptly address the demands of the #EndBadGovernance protesters. Yunusa warned that the president should not assume he is beyond reproach and emphasized the need for immediate action.
In an interview with Arise TV on Tuesday, Yunusa urged President Tinubu to act quickly to resolve the issues raised by the protesters, stressing that the situation could worsen if not addressed soon. He noted that the protests have shifted focus from ethnic and religious issues to pressing socio-economic concerns.
Yunusa criticized the federal government for not taking timely action before the protests erupted and suggested that reducing the pump price of petrol could help calm the situation. He concluded by urging the president to act decisively to meet the protesters’ demands and restore stability.
