A Nigerian woman, Oyindamola Akinyera, recently had an unforgettable experience when she gave birth to a baby girl during a flight to Brazil. The couple was on their “Honeymoon and Babymoon” trip when Oyindamola unexpectedly went into labor mid-flight. Despite the surprising turn of events, the couple welcomed their daughter safely aboard the plane.
In an Instagram post, Oyindamola shared that the flight attendants acted as her “personal midwives,” setting up a birthing station at the entrance of the plane. A doctor on board, named Carolina, also assisted with the delivery. Oyindamola delivered her baby girl just 20 minutes before the plane landed in Brazil.
After landing, they headed straight to the hospital, where it was confirmed that both mother and baby were in good health. The heartwarming story has captured attention online, with many people congratulating Oyindamola and her family on their joyous experience.
