Ibrahim Modibbo, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Taraba State, has criticized President Bola Tinubu’s advisers and ministers, labeling them as incompetent and urging for their dismissal. During an interview with Arise TV, Modibbo described Tinubu’s economic team as “newspaper tigers” who rely on textbook solutions rather than addressing the real issues facing Nigerians, such as hunger and hardship.
He also criticized the decision to purchase a new presidential jet without selling the old one, citing it as an example of poor decision-making. Despite his criticisms, Modibbo appealed to Nigerians to give President Tinubu time, expressing confidence that the President would eventually find solutions to the country’s economic challenges.
