Kevin De Bruyne picked up an injury during Manchester City’s Champions League clash with Inter Milan last Wednesday.
City manager Pep Guardiola has provided an update, confirming the De Bruyne is on track for a quick recovery.

The 33-year-old sustained what appeared to be a groin issue during the midweek draw with Inter Milan, forcing him to miss City’s Premier League fixture against Arsenal on Sunday. However, Guardiola reassured fans that De Bruyne’s absence will be brief.

De Bruyne’s return will be a significant boost for City as they push forward in their Premier League campaign. Known fr his pivotal role, the Belgian playmaker has consistently delivered goals and assists for the team.

Last season, City deeply felt his absence due to a hamstring injury, but his impact was clear upon his return against Newcastle in January.

In a separate set back for City, midfielder Rodri is reportedly set to miss the remainder of the season after sustaining an injury in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal. The 28-year-old has been one of City’s most influential players, wit the team remaining undefeated in all League matches he played last season.
