Veteran Nigerian actor Segun Arinze has addressed rumors of homosexuality within the Nollywood industry, firmly distancing himself from any such practices. Speaking in an interview with Arise TV, the 59-year-old actor stated, “I do not bend over, so I cannot react to it. If they do, that’s their business.”
Arinze expressed that while he has no confirmation of such activities among his colleagues, he believes that everyone has the right to live their lives as they see fit. “They are adults and have a right to do whatever they want to do. It is none of my business,” he said, emphasizing his focus on living straightforwardly and maintaining professionalism in his career.
The actor concluded by noting that he avoids unnecessary distractions and prefers to focus on his craft and personal values. “I like living my life straightforward, doing my business, and being the professional that I am,” Arinze remarked, sidestepping the controversy and highlighting his dedication to his work.
