The Labour Party (LP) has criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration, claiming it lacks the capacity to tackle Nigeria’s pressing issues. Abayomi Arabami, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, spoke out, asserting that the LP is focused on resolving internal challenges as it aims to restore Nigeria’s direction.
Arabami also praised the party’s former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, for rejecting alliances formed merely for power. He highlighted that the current administration’s lack of vision for governance only deepens the country’s struggles, making it essential for the LP to prioritize unity and purposeful leadership over power grabs.
In an effort to address political differences, Arabami reaffirmed the LP’s commitment to reconciliation, noting that Obi’s stance against unprincipled power-seeking resonates with the party’s renewed focus on serving Nigerians, rather than participating in futile political maneuvering.
