Barcelona’s rising star, Lamine Yamal, has expressed his thoughts on the Ballon d’Or, stating that he is not concerned about the outcome of the prestigious award.
The young forward believes that either he or his teammate Raphinha could claim the honor if Barcelona secures major titles this season.

In an interview with Diario Sport, the 17-year-old suggested that winning multiple trophies could pave the way for either him or Raphinha to be recognized as the world’s best player.
Yamal spoke highly of his Brazilian teammate, emphasizing his remarkable improvement while making it clear that his primary focus is enjoying the game.

“We haven’t talked about it, but if we win the titles we are fighting for, one of us will win it,” Yamal stated. “I’m really happy for Raphinha. I always tell him that his improvement has been incredible, and he’s playing really well. The Ballon d’Or doesn’t worry me.”

He further added, “I just want to enjoy football and have fun. I don’t think about these things.”
