The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has confirmed ongoing consultations with various political groups ahead of the 2027 elections but has yet to decide on joining the opposition coalition led by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Speaking on the matter, NNPP National Publicity Secretary, Ladipo Johnson, stated that the party is keeping its strategy confidential for now but remains committed to improving governance in Nigeria. He emphasized that alliances could be formed at any time before the elections.
Johnson assured Nigerians that NNPP is focused on policies that will enhance security, strengthen the Naira, reduce inflation, and empower youths and women through economic opportunities.
