A Federal High Court in Abuja has stopped both Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and Senate President Godswill Akpabio from talking to the media about their ongoing court case. The judge, Justice Binta Nyako, gave the order after Akpabio’s lawyer complained that Natasha had been giving interviews on TV, even though the matter is still in court.
The judge made it clear that no one involved in the case — not the parties or their lawyers — is allowed to speak to the press or stream court sessions online. She said this would help protect the fairness of the case and avoid confusion or public pressure.

This court case began after Senator Natasha, who was suspended, took Akpabio and others to court over a Senate investigation against her. The case was first handled by Justice Egwuatu, who stepped down after accusations of bias. It is now being handled by Justice Nyako, and the legal battle continues.
