The Supreme Court has ended the leadership battle in the Labour Party by sacking Julius Abure and backing Senator Nenadi Usman as the rightful national chairman. This judgment brings an end to months of confusion over who should lead the party.
Speaking after the court ruling, the Labour Party’s National Secretary, Darlington Nwokocha, said he was very happy with the decision. He thanked all party members and leaders who supported the Caretaker Committee during the tough times. According to him, this judgment proves that people can still trust in the power of Nigeria’s democracy.

Nwokocha praised members of the party for staying calm and peaceful, even during the crisis. He urged everyone to remain united and work together to build a stronger Labour Party. “Let’s move forward together,” he said, calling on supporters to stay patient and committed.
