There was heartbreak across Nigeria as several women broke down in tears after losing huge sums of money to a digital trading platform called CBEX, which has reportedly crashed. Many users discovered they could no longer make withdrawals, and their account balances had been wiped out completely.

CBEX, which claimed to offer a 100% return on investment within a month using only U.S. dollars, attracted many hopeful investors. The platform’s sudden collapse has now left users stranded, sparking outrage and sorrow among victims who believed they had found a financial breakthrough.
In a viral video, two Nigerian ladies tearfully shared how they lost their savings. One of them had only just joined the platform before it crashed. The incident has reignited warnings about high-return schemes that promise too much, too fast.
