ZINOX Technologies Limited, a prominent integrated technology group in Africa, has announced a $250 million investment plan following extensive research and successful testing of reliable and cost-effective renewable energy solutions for Nigeria and other African countries. The company has partnered with leading renewable energy firms from China, UK, South Africa, and Dubai to achieve this feat.
With a remarkable track record of 23 years in pioneering innovative technologies, Zinox has established itself as a trusted provider of critical tech solutions across Nigeria and various African nations. Their iPOWER brand, encompassing Solar, Inverters, and Batteries, now offers a warranty of up to 25 years in Nigeria. Zinox aims to deliver iPOWER products to major Nigerian cities within 24 hours, subject to availability.
During the recent annual strategic business retreat, attended by industry leaders in technology and power, including Zinox Group Chairman Leo Stan Ekeh and Managing Director Kelechi Eze-Okonta, it was emphasized that Zinox is the driving force behind Africa’s technological progress. The company has demonstrated that Africa can achieve technology independence by successfully implementing high-quality tech projects across the continent in a timely manner.
Eze-Okonta stated, “We have invested significantly in research, collaborating with renowned global partners, to reach this point. We now have tested products with warranties of up to 25 years. On September 4th, we will also launch our integrated Executive Mobile Energy solution for professionals, SMEs, PaaS for Telcos’ Rural Telephony Infrastructure, and students.”
Furthermore, Zinox has collaborated with credible domestic partners over the past seven years to deploy renewable energy solutions in over 25,000 homes, schools, and offices. The company is excited to offer cost-efficient energy solutions that are budget-friendly for both residential and business purposes. Regardless of the size and scope, Zinox takes responsibility for the performance and after-sales support of iPOWER inverters, solar panels, and batteries. In addition, they are initiating training programs for over 500 Nigerian engineers and certified technicians from all states and Abuja, who will conduct power audits, installations, and nationwide support to ensure customers receive full value for their money.
Eze-Okonta emphasized the company’s commitment to removing Nigeria as a dumping ground for substandard energy products. Zinox aims to provide comprehensive after-sales support for iTEC Solar, Inverters, and Batteries, ensuring ethical practices and saving valuable resources in the country. To address the power supply crisis in Nigeria, where over 70 million people lack access to electricity and costs are rising, Zinox will collaborate closely with stakeholders such as the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN) and local developers.
Renewable energy not only helps meet Nigeria’s energy demands but also supports sustainable economic growth, job creation, and the achievement of global climate and development objectives. Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh, Chairman of the Zinox Group, announced that $250 million has been secured to expand access to competitive and eco-friendly electricity supplies for Nigerian homes and businesses. This initiative will enhance the quality of life and provide support to developers, REAN, and other stakeholders in priority projects. Zinox, in partnership with enterprise clients, will introduce off-grid solutions for estates and hospitality businesses while continuing to offer consumer products, including the successful iPOWER range for homes and small to medium-sized organizations.
