President Bola Tinubu, in a meeting with Bank of America officials, expressed confidence in Nigeria’s ability to overcome challenges and lead Africa to success.
He emphasized the need for fiscal and institutional reforms to address governance and development issues. President Tinubu sought the bank’s support and partnership to advance mutual benefits for Nigeria and the institution. He highlighted the importance of innovation and global competitiveness, particularly in the Nigerian gas sector. Bank of America’s delegation, led by Bernard Mensah, commended the administration’s initial steps and offered assistance in financing and generating ideas for addressing both immediate and long-term challenges.
The delegation included Mrs Yvonne Ike Fasinro and Mr Chuba Ezenwa, representing the bank’s Sub-Saharan Africa operations.
