Police and the Army find weapons in Delta

Arms and ammunition from alleged kidnappers and armed robbers have been found by Delta State Police Command agents and soldiers from the 3 Battalion, Ekpan, Warri, Delta State.

The command’s spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe, told reporters on Tuesday that they had stormed an uncompleted building on Agadaga Avenue, off Jakpa Road in Warri, and found the weapons and ammunition, as well as charms.

One AK-47 rifle, five magazines, one assault rifle with two magazines, and two English pump action rifles were among the goods he listed as having been found.

A toy gun, a double-barreled gun, a single-barreled gun, 110 live rounds of ammunition, cutlasses, and a collection of charms wrapped in a hat are among the additional items.
