Senate President Godswill Akpabio has reassured foreign investors about the safety of their investments in Nigeria. He emphasized the commitment of the Federal Government, led by President Bola Tinubu, to create a conducive business environment for foreign investors.

During a courtesy visit by JAMPUR INTERNATIONAL GROUP FZE, led by CEO Mohanmed Shafiq, Akpabio expressed a warm welcome on behalf of the Senate. He highlighted Nigeria’s safety and readiness for investments, acknowledging the group’s current investments in mining, power, and trading sectors, and thanked them for employing Nigerians.

He cited the benefits of investing in Nigeria, including its large population of over 200 million, and praised President Tinubu’s business acumen and his successful track record as the former governor of Lagos State.

Assuring the visitors, Akpabio stated that the Federal Government would take all necessary measures to protect their investments by ensuring the security of its citizens and foreign investors.

In his remarks, Muhammed Shafiq congratulated the Senate President on his election and expressed the group’s readiness to continue partnering with the government, particularly in the fields of mining, agriculture, and power.
