Prominent business figure Abu Salami, who recently brought up allegations against Davido, asserted that the artist had attempted to initiate him into a secret society, an offer he rejected.
As a refresher, Abu Salami had previously accused Davido of failing to fulfill a N218 million debt related to a children’s project, which the singer allegedly backed out of and has been uncooperative in resolving.
In an Instagram post, Abu Salami revealed that he had disbursed 218 million naira to the musician as part of a 326 million naira deal. He recounted a specific incident when he traveled to twenty different states with an eleven-member production team to scout for young, talented football players for the youth.
In a subsequent update, Abu Salami shared a video in which he alleged that Davido was involved in a clandestine group and had proposed that he join, an invitation he declined.
Abu also claimed that Davido had been involved in fraudulent activities and had been living a pretentious lifestyle to impress the public. Furthermore, negotiations to settle the debt were unsuccessful because Davido purportedly lacked the financial means to repay him.
He mentioned that mutual acquaintances had attempted to mediate the dispute between him and Davido, but these efforts had proven futile due to Davido’s alleged financial constraints.
