Accident Causes Gridlock on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

In the early hours of Friday, a collision between a Toyota Camry (SMK 436 GB) and a Mercedes-Benz truck (AKD G43 XM) occurred at the Magboro end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Fortunately, no lives were lost in the accident, which happened around 8:10 am near the Magboro bus stop.

The Toyota Camry, heading towards Ibadan, collided with the Mercedes-Benz truck, which was attempting to join the road. The aftermath of the crash resulted in a traffic gridlock on the inward Ibadan lane of the expressway.

Emergency response teams and traffic authorities are on the scene to manage the situation and facilitate the clearance of the road to restore normal traffic flow. Commuters are advised to exercise caution and seek alternative routes if possible.
