Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has responded to allegations that he consults with demons before ministering at the Redemption Camp.
Addressing these claims during the Annual Convention 2023 on Friday night, Adeboye, affectionately known as Daddy GO, acknowledged being alerted to publications that accused him of consulting demons by certain clergy and groups.
Adeboye urged the congregation to pray for his passing if he were ever involved in such practices. He expressed his willingness to face such rumors, but he also recognized that some of his own members might have been influenced by these false claims.
To dispel any doubts, he asked the assembly to join him in a prayer: “If Pastor Adeboye has any connections with demonic powers, let him pass away before sunrise. But if he’s empowered by your divine strength, let that strength be multiplied sevenfold.”
By addressing these allegations head-on and inviting his congregation to pray with him, Adeboye aimed to counteract the rumors and strengthen the faith and trust of those who follow his teachings.
