The State Chairman of the APC Stakeholders Forum, Hon. Dr. Kassim Muh’d Kassim, denounced an anonymous group falsely claiming to represent APC stakeholders. The group, called Concerned Nasarawa APC Stakeholders, spread falsehoods and caused unrest in the state. Hon. Kassim demanded the immediate arrest of Hon. Samuel Akala, associated with the impersonation.
He clarified that only the APC Stakeholders Forum, led by him, was recognized in Nasarawa State. The Concerned APC Stakeholders had no authority or recognition. Hon. Kassim addressed baseless accusations against the Chief Judge and the Governor, stating that the alleged group consisted of individuals without official status.
Regarding the Assembly, Hon. Kassim mentioned the group sizes of Hon. Daniel Ogazi and Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe. He criticized the Concerned APC Stakeholders for spreading confusion and misinformation about court cases.
On salaries, he clarified that non-inaugurated members were not entitled to payment. Hon. Kassim urged Hon. Daniel Ogazi’s ten members-elect to present themselves for inauguration before expecting salaries.
He emphasized the APC Stakeholders Forum’s important role in party assignments, including support during Sen. Abdullahi Adamu’s campaign for APC National Chairman.
Hon. Kassim condemned attempts to tarnish the Governor’s reputation and called for the arrest of the anonymous group. He challenged Hon. Samuel Akala to hold a press conference in Lafia instead of issuing statements from undisclosed locations in Abuja.
