APC leader Ilyasu Musa Kwankwaso has advised the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) to stop blaming the Federal Government for the challenges facing the North. Instead, he called on Northern leaders to look inward and focus on practical solutions to the region’s issues. Kwankwaso emphasized that these problems existed long before President Tinubu’s administration.
Kwankwaso highlighted banditry as a primary concern, explaining that addressing it would allow farmers to return to their fields, boosting regional productivity. He also echoed former Sokoto State Governor Attahiru Bafarawa’s call for unity in the North to tackle common challenges.
Reflecting on the North’s political history, Kwankwaso noted that nine heads of state were from the North, yet issues like insecurity persist. He urged Northern leaders to work together, address root causes, and focus on the region’s progress.
