Apostle Femi Lazarus Slams $10,000 Fees Charged by Gospel Singers

Popular preacher Apostle Femi Lazarus has criticized the high fees charged by some gospel singers, saying they are excessive for ministry work. During a recent sermon, he shared an alleged invoice from a gospel artist demanding $10,000, a first-class flight, luxury accommodation, and a 50% non-refundable deposit.

Lazarus argued that such demands contradict the true purpose of gospel ministry. He also claimed that some gospel artists charge smaller churches high fees while offering free services to influential pastors to gain endorsements.

His remarks have sparked debate, with some agreeing that ministry should not be commercialized, while others argue that gospel singers deserve fair pay for their services.
