The prominent streaming service Apple Music has disclosed the most streamed song in Nigeria for the year 2023.
In its official year-end charts release, Apple Music confirmed the leading song in every country, providing a comprehensive list of the top 100 most streamed songs in Nigeria for 2023.
The chart covered the period from November 2022 to October 31, 2023. Within this timeframe, Omah Lay secured the top position with his chart-topping track ‘Soso,’ featured in his debut album titled ‘Boy Alone.’
Omah Lay’s debut album made a significant impact, and its deluxe version, released in 2023, continued the trend. One of the added songs, ‘Reason,’ also earned a place among the top 50 most streamed songs on Apple Music in Nigeria.
