Two suspected serial killers and a passenger have been detained by Ogun State Police Command agents.
Along the Papalanto axis of the Lagos-Abeokuta Express Road, the suspects were apprehended on Sunday.
The suspects’ arrest was announced to the media in Abeokuta on Wednesday by police spokesman Omolola Odutola.
The suspects, identified by Odutola as One Esube and Osunmuyiwa Solomon, were taken into custody with a locally made pistol that was loaded with rounds.
He claimed that following Esube’s admission that they were both responsible for a number of homicides in their neighborhood, the suspects were taken into custody.
Odutola claims that the suspects, who were riding an unregistered motorcycle, were flagged down along the road by a patrol squad led by Inspector Sunday Adeyemo of the Ilaro Division, but they sped off instead of stopping.
The accused were pursued and detained with a passenger, Omowunmi Fiyakola, according to the police spokesman.
In an effort to flee, Esube bit a policeman on the finger, according to Odutola.
She continued by saying that the accused would soon face criminal charges for murder, theft, and gun possession.
