Atiku Dismisses Criticism Over 2027 Coalition

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has dismissed criticisms from PDP chieftains Bode George and Ibrahim Shekarau regarding the newly formed political coalition ahead of the 2027 elections. The duo had accused coalition members of being driven by personal ambition rather than party unity.

Responding, Atiku’s media aide, Paul Ibe, stated that the coalition is making progress and will not be distracted by detractors. He added that those uninterested in the movement should remain silent rather than criticize.

Ibe emphasized that George lacks knowledge about the coalition and therefore has no basis to comment. He reaffirmed that the coalition remains open to those willing to join.
