Demola Olarewaju, Digital Media Strategist to former PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, has taken a jab at Daniel Bwala after the reorganization of President Bola Tinubu’s media team. Following the recent changes, Bwala’s role shifted from Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication to Special Adviser on Policy Communication, a move Olarewaju labeled as a downgrade.
Olarewaju commented on the late-night announcement by Tinubu’s Special Adviser, Bayo Onanuga, suggesting that the timing was strategic and signaled a power shift. According to Olarewaju, the restructuring conveys a message to Bwala about his place in the Tinubu camp.
In a series of social media posts, Olarewaju further mocked Bwala, implying that the reassignment was a reminder of the hierarchy within Tinubu’s circle.
