Paul Ibe, a media aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, says Nigerians deserve to know the full truth about President Bola Tinubu’s past. Speaking on X, Ibe said it’s time for Tinubu’s records, including his alleged drug-related forfeiture and Chicago State University certificate, to be made public. He insisted that a country like Nigeria should not be led by someone with a questionable past.

Ibe’s comments came shortly after a U.S. court ordered the FBI to release information about Tinubu. The order was given by Judge Beryl Howell in response to a motion filed by American citizen Aaron Greenspan. The judge said keeping the information secret was not reasonable or acceptable.
Greenspan had earlier accused the FBI of ignoring the Freedom of Information Act by refusing to release documents related to investigations involving Tinubu and another man, Abiodun Agbele. Atiku’s Aide believes this new court order will help uncover the truth Nigerians have been waiting for.
