In a recent development, popular comedian AY Makun has formally lodged a petition with the Delta State Police Command, addressing serious allegations made against him by a Facebook user identified as Agozi Samuel.
The petition outlines that Agozi Samuel, in a 4.32-second video released on Saturday, January 20, made false and unfounded statements capable of causing harm and distress to Makun’s family. The allegations have the potential to incite annoyance, insult, enmity, hatred, public outrage, and unnecessary anxiety, while also exposing the comedian to public ridicule.
Agozi Samuel, in the controversial video, asserted that Makun has been involved in an extramarital affair with May Edochie, the wife of Yul Edochie, suggesting that this alleged affair was the reason behind the celebrity couple’s marriage downfall.
Furthermore, the Facebook user went on to make a shocking claim, asserting that the second daughter of Makun is not biologically his but rather belongs to his security personnel.
Makun, in response to these damaging accusations, has taken the legal route by filing a petition with the Delta State Police Command, seeking appropriate action against Agozi Samuel for spreading false information. The comedian vehemently denies the allegations and is determined to defend his reputation against what he deems as baseless and malicious claims.
