Leader of the Obidient Network Advisory Council, Ikenna Azomchine, has declared that the Labour Party has no real relevance without Peter Obi. In an interview with Arise News, he insisted that Obi remains the heart of the party and the Obidient movement, describing him as the only hope for the presidency after Tinubu’s tenure.
Azomchine also criticized Labour Party Chairman Julius Abure, suggesting that external forces are manipulating him. He pointed out that the Obidient movement exists across all political parties, and that many of Obi’s loyal supporters are not tied to Labour. “The Labour Party is nothing without Peter Obi,” he said firmly.

Reflecting on Obi’s exit from the PDP, Azomchine blamed internal politics and favoritism towards Atiku. He stressed that Nigerians now have the chance to judge Tinubu’s four years in office and decide if it’s time to give Obi a shot. Despite the crisis within the Labour Party, he expressed confidence that Obi’s influence remains strong across the country.
