President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has once again been urged to pursue debt relief from foreign creditors by Are Afe Babalola, SAN, the Chancellor and Founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti (ABUAD).
Babalola demanded an inquiry into how Nigeria got into its current precarious financial state.
Thus, he issued a warning that immediate action on the level of debt is necessary to save the nation from collapsing and experiencing socioeconomic disasters.
The founder of ABUAD gave a speech in Ado Ekiti over the weekend, just after the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria held the sixth induction ceremony for 161 newly graduated medical students from the university.
